The practice has also gained extensive experience in new-build infill schemes within conservation areas. Such developments consist of both residential and mixed-use schemes. The practice has provided much in the way of new-build residential schemes within its home town of Shrewsbury as well as developments further away such as at Tean Hall Mills.

Arrol & Snell is familiar with all aspects of liaison with Cadw, English Heritage and Lottery Distributors, as well as with statutory Cathedral and Church Consent procedures. Arrol and Snell is fully conversant with grant application procedures and methodologies and is closely involved with fundraising for many of its projects, such as the Heritage Lottery Fund for York Minster and English Heritage for St Alkmund’s Shrewsbury.
